The Diagnostic and Surgical Recovery Task Force is coming to an end in Manitoba, but the new government is promising funds will go to address health-care needs.

Doctors Manitoba says the province's diagnostic test and surgery backlog is up more than 7,700 cases since January, now totalling an estimated 161,585.
