Donald Trump’s absence on the world stage is a chance for other western countries, like Canada, to call for a global inquiry into China's handling of COVID-19, Matthew Fisher says.

The evacuees arriving from China will be separated from each other and from others on the base, although family units will be kept together, the government has said.
