Students at Mount Royal University are battling Islamophobia by holding a weeklong speaker series during United Islam Awareness Week.

Dozens of volunteers from the Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association cleaned up downtown Calgary Wednesday morning after the city’s New Year’s Eve celebrations.
