According to a Calgary Police Service report, of March 9, the 17 year-to-date shootings represent a 37 per cent reduction when compared to last year’s numbers.

Investigators are still determining if the 21 pharmacy robberies are done by the same individuals/groups or if it's part of a larger crime trend in Calgary.
