The registrar of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of New Brunswick says he’s surprised by the backlash and comments aimed at the complainant regarding the suspension of a well-known Fredericton doctor.

Patients of a well-known Fredericton doctor who has been suspended for 18 months for an improper relationship with a patient disagree with the length of his suspension and are asking the New Brunswick College of Physicians and Doctors to reconsider the penalty.
