Brampton Civic Hospital has accomplished a world first with the implementation of an emotion-based, person-centred approach to care for dementia patients.

"What we want to see are the dollars and we want to see the shovels in the ground," Ontario NDP Leader Andrea Horwath said outside Peel Memorial Centre on Thursday.
