Alberta pharmacies began ordering the Moderna bivalent COVID-19 vaccine on Tuesday while Albertans wait to hear about the province's rollout plan.

Ottawa has signed an agreement with Moderna to provide 12 million doses of its updated shot for 2022 and 2023, though rollout times are unclear.
