Things to do in #OurYYC
Here are five things you can do virtually in #OurYYC:
1. Calgary Arts Development has created a platform with a host of online events from the arts community. From free concerts and performances to digital tours and online resources, our own local arts community is making sure we all stay connected to art, artists, and creative ideas.
2. Take in the CUFF.Docs Documentary Film Festival taking place Online and at Globe Cinema from Nov. 5 – Dec. 1. With a selection of 18 features and two shorts packages, the hybrid festival will feature 13 in-cinema screenings, plus additional films available online to stream.
3. The Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra is offering virtual concerts from the comfort of your home along with a host of recent videos, featured live-streams, blog posts, and news from our musicians.
4. Springboard Performance’s Fluid Festival offers Fluid All Fall—a series of digital performances, artist talks, and creative offerings to keep you inspired at home from October 12 – December 13. Join in for weekly talks with artists to reflect, provoke, and connect ideas that shape us and the culture of our community.
5. From penguins to primates, the Calgary Zoo has Zoomazing Zoo-themed trivia you can do from home. As well, the kids will love Zoo Along with You – a hub for zoo-related activities to help engage your young people and keep their spirits high while in and around your home. Keep your whole family’s minds engaged this fall!
