A big congratulations to Global Meteorologist Jordan Witzel!

Jordan faced the challenge of a lifetime in June, putting himself in the boots of every soldier who has sacrificed for our country.

Jordan survived eight days of non-stop physical training during a Navy SEALS bootcamp in Virginia Beach – all in an effort to raise money for the Calgary Poppy Fund and the Veteran’s Food Bank.

Global News is proud to announce Jordan raised an astonishing $58,729.

Funds raised will help support our local veterans and their families.
