Monthly Team Power Smart Contest – October 2010

Official Contest Rules

1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. This contest (“Contest”) is open to residents of British Columbia who are aged nineteen (19) years or older as of October 1, 2010 and otherwise comply with all the conditions of these rules. See Rule 5 for additional eligibility requirements. The Contest begins on October 1, 2010 at 12:01am Pacific Time (“PT”) and ends October 31, 2010 at 11:59pm PT (the “Contest Period”).

There are two ways to enter:

a.

Access the Team Power Smart web page on the bchydro.com website and join Team Power Smart by completing the online form and committing to a 10% electricity reduction goal and enter the correct answer to the Team Power Smart Celebrity Monthly Question (available at http://www.bchydro.com/powersmart/team_power_smart/prizes.html) in the promo code area of your member’s tool box (located at https://www.bchydro.com/youraccount/teampowersmart/Home.do). No purchase is necessary to join Team Power Smart. Multiple promo code submissions will be counted as one entry.

b.

If an eligible entrant has already joined Team Power Smart before the start of the Contest Period, then that entrant must log into their account and enter the correct answer to the Team Power Smart Celebrity monthly question (available at http://www.bchydro.com/powersmart/team_power_smart/prizes.html) in the promo code area of your member’s tool box (located at https://www.bchydro.com/youraccount/teampowersmart/Home.do.No) purchase is necessary to join Team Power Smart. Multiple promo code submissions will be counted as one entry.

LIMIT one (1) entry per person regardless of the method of entry. By submitting an entry, entrants acknowledge that they have read, understood, are eligible for and agreed to abide by these Official Contest Rules.

2. PRIZE: There is one (1) prize package available to be won, consisting of a GE Bottom Mount Refrigerator and a GE Slide-In Self-Cleaning Gas Range and an autographed Ryan Kesler Canucks Jersey. Winner has the option of a GE Bottom Mount Freezer Refrigerator in Stainless Steel (GDRS3KBYRSS) or White (GDRC3KBYWW) or Black (GDRC3KBYBB) and a GE Slide-In Self-Cleaning Gas Range in Stainless Steel (JGSP28SERSS) or White (JGSP28DERWW) or Black (JGSP28DERBB) or Electric Model in Stainless Steel (JCSP42SRSS). Mabe Canada Inc. (GE Appliances Canada) reserves the right to substitute a different model of greater or equal value should the specified model not be available. Approximate retail value of prize package is [$3698.00]. GE prize consists of a refrigerator and a gas range only and winner is solely responsible for all costs and expenses (including but not limited to installation) relating to the use of the prize. Prize will be shipped directly to the winner from Mabe Canada Inc. at no cost to the winner.

BC Hydro reserves the right to substitute a prize of equivalent value if any component of the prize cannot be awarded as described.

3. DRAW: Random draws will be held on or around November 8, 2010 to select one (1) entry from all eligible entries received during the Contest Period. The chances of winning are dependent upon the total number of eligible entries received.
