TORONTO – They were each other’s constant companion for two years. Now, veteran Jiang Yutao and his military dog, Heibao, have to part ways.
In these photos below, Jiang Yutao says farewell to his canine companion on his last day as a soldier on November 14, 2013 in Yunnan province, located in southwest China.
“It broke both our hearts,” said Jiang in an interview with Metro. “I wish I could take him with me.”
