Manitoba RCMP investigate homicide on First Nation

The RCMP’s major crime services, along with forensic investigators, are looking into an incident Wednesday at a home on Waywayseecappo First Nation.

Police from the local Manitoba First Nation Police Service detachment were called to the Church Road home in the community around 1:30 a.m., where they found a 23-year-old man with serious injuries.

He was pronounced dead at the scene. Police continue to investigate.
