Second man charged after murder victim found in Braeside alley

CALGARY – Police have laid more charges in connection to a murder from over a year ago.

28-year-old Graham Mark Sear was found dead in a silver Toyota 4Runner in an alley behind the Braeside Shopping Centre on June 8th, 2012.

Witnesses told police they had seen two men assaulting someone inside the vehicle as it sat in a parking lot in the 1900 block of Southland Drive S.W.

Police said they believed it was due to a drug deal gone wrong, and that he may have known at least one of the people involved.

In May, police arrested Christopher Brian Richards and charged him with one count of first-degree murder.

Now police have arrested a second man.

32-year-old Glen John MacIsaac was taken into custody without incident in the community of Evergreen on Thursday.

He has been charged with first-degree murder.

“Our investigative team has worked diligently for almost a year and a half on this investigation and it just shows that these files don’t close for us, and we don’t give up,” says S/Sgt. Grant Miller.
