Dell forced to honour $15 price for 19″ monitors

Dell accidentally priced a 19″ monitor at $15. Problem is, it’s normally priced at about $150.

By time they realized the mistake, a whopping 140,000 orders had already been placed.

The Taiwan government says Dell must honour all 140,000 orders or face prosecution for “violation of fair trade laws.”

This kind of thing happens often on e-commerce websites, but usually the companies affected offer an apology or a small discount if you’re lucky. 

I’m betting someone at Dell got fired over this monumental screw up…
