Poll: Canucks asking for more flexibility on booze rules at Rogers Arena

The Vancouver Canucks organization is asking for more flexibility on how they’re allowed to serve alcohol at Rogers Arena as the province conducts a full review of its liquor policies.

The current rules limit fans to just 24 ounces of beer at a time.

The Canucks want that limit raised to 40 ounces, so fans can buy two pints per run.

They also want more beer vendors in the arena, the hours of sale increased, and the ability to sell hard liquor.

Right now, hard liquor is only sold in the box seats.

If the changes are approved, they would also apply to other arenas in the province.
