Winnipeg man found dead under cargo truck a victim of homicide, police say

Winnipeg police are investigating a homicide in East Elmwood.

Police said they were called to the 130 block of Clyde Avenue Monday morning with a report of an injured man lying under a U-haul style truck.

When officers arrived, they found the man — since identified as 35-year-old Lionel Sherwin Colombe — dead at the scene.

Homicide investigators are reaching out to anyone living in the area with home surveillance to check if they have information that could assist investigators.
