Lake Country residents have cast their vote for a new mayor and council in the 2022 B.C. municipal election.
For the first time in 17 years, Lake Country will have a new mayor.
Global News is projecting that will be Blair Ireland.
Joining Ireland are incumbent councillors Todd McKenzie and Cara Reed, as well as newcomers, Bib Patel, Michael Lewis, Healther Irvine and Tricia Brett.
