Residents of Elkford have cast their votes for their next mayor in the 2022 B.C. municipal election.
Global News is projecting that Steve Fairbairn has been elected as mayor, with more than 70 per cent of Saturday’s vote.
Projected to win a council seat were incumbents Duncan McDonald and Len Gostick plus newcomers Shawna Bryant, Jason Meldrum, Tathlina Lovlin and Bert Schaelkamp.
