Halifax Regional Police say four men have been charged in relation to a shooting in May.
On May 26, police received a report at 5 p.m. of “multiple shots” fired in the area of Roleika Drive and Churchill Court.
“Shots were exchanged between a vehicle with three men and a man who was on foot in the area,” HRP said in a news release on June 9.
“A residence and a parked vehicle were struck, but there were no reports of injuries in relation to the incident.”
On June 6, investigators and members of the HRP and RCMP Emergency Response teams conducted searches on Regent Drive and Lakecrest Drive in Dartmouth, and arrested three men.
A fourth man was arrested on June 9.
According to police:
Shemar Leroy Willis, 21 is charged with:
- Careless use of a firearm
- Pointing a firearm
- Possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose
- Unauthorized possession of firearm
- Possession of a firearm knowing possession is unauthorized
- Possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm with ammunition
- Discharging firearm
Shemar Leroy Willis, 21 is charged with:

Devrandre Qwa’Taylan Terqriez Willis, 21, is charged with:
- Discharging a firearm
- Unauthorized possession of a firearm in motor vehicle
Santieo Carvell Downey, 31, is charged with:
- accessory after the fact
