The Edmonton Comic & Entertainment Expo is a celebration of pop culture including everything from comics and gaming, to cartoons and sci-fi. Shane sits down with Zoie Palmer, who is on the show Lost Girl.

TWILIGHT WALK- A Twilight Walk is being held Saturday evening in support of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Canada. Kevin speaks with Maria and Mike Lovsin about the event.

EIFF- The 2013 Edmonton International Film Festival features 150 films from 20 countries, some from local filmmakers. Shane speaks with Marc Halberstadt, whose film “Cowjews and Indians” shows Saturday.

CANADIAN SKI PATROL RECRUITS- The Canadian Ski Patrol is hosting a recruitment information session next week looking for volunteers. Kevin speaks with Ashley Tyner about the event.

TODD JAMES- The Edmonton International Film Festival is underway for another year of world class movies. Todd James is our review guru, and stops by the Morning News to speak about a few films.

YOGA- Yoga in the Heart of yeg is a three hour outdoor yoga fest in the heart of Edmonton’s Little Italy. It’s happening next week. Kevin speaks with Heidi Dennis about the festival.

FREE FAMILY FUN- On Sunday, Edmontonians are invited to enjoy a full day of free family fun at participating City of Edmonton facilities and attractions. Shane sits down with Sharon Klein and Leslie Olsen to hear more about the day.

SCARS- Alison Foxford from the Second Chance Animal Rescue Society is back with two dogs this week.
