Update: Regina police locate missing mother, son

A 51-year-old Regina woman who worked as a cleaner in a senior's complex has been arrested and charged with fraud and theft after an investigation of three separate incidents. File / Global News

The Regina Police Service (RPS) requested for the public’s assistance in locating a mother and her 10-year-old son.

On Wednesday, March 9, 2022, RPS confirms they have been located and are well.

“Police have met with (the mother) and her son and both are well,” RPS stated.

RPS stated this concludes the matter and they thank the public for their concern and assistance.

RPS received a missing persons’ report from a family member on March 4, 2022, expressing concern that they could not establish contact with the mother.

“Police do not have reason to believe the mother and child are victims of any criminal wrongdoing, but there are concerns for their well-being,” Regina police stated.
