Police say Mustafa Sa’Ada was taken into custody by Vancouver police officers on West Hastings near Carrall Street.

The 32-year-old was being processed for release Thursday, and upon learning his release conditions were not met and he would be jailed at the Pretrial Centre, he fled on foot.

According to police Sa’Ada has a “history of violent offences,” and was in custody for robbery.
