Two men are dead following an accident at a worksite on Gabriola Island on Tuesday morning.
RCMP said the boom of a concrete pump-truck broke and landed on two people at a private property just before 11 a.m.
Both men were pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.

Neighbour Tom Tillemans said one of the men who died was an artist who was working on his dream home.
“I always admired him,” he said. “I admired his energy and his lucid perspective on things.”
RCMP, the BC Coroners Service and WorkSafeBC are investigating.
