Richmond RCMP say pair of missing 12-year-old girls found safe

Richmond RCMP say a pair of 12-year-old girls reported missing earlier Wednesday have been found safe.

The girls had last been seen last seen leaving Homma Elementary near the 5100 block of Brunswick Drive around noon.

Both girls were found in good health and transported to their parents safely, according to an update late Wednesday.

Police said they were concerned for the health and well-being of both girls given their age.
