Police searching for suspect in drug trafficking investigation

Edmonton – Edmonton police have issued arrest warrants for a man after finding a number of firearms and thousands of dollars in cash at a home in downtown.

30-year-old William Stewart Culver is wanted by police on warrants for four counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking and 29 firearms charges.

On Friday morning, the Edmonton Police Service (EPS) EDGE Unit and Tactical Section seized firearms and about $39,000 in drugs and cash during a search warrant at a home in the area of 93 Street and 103 Avenue.

The list of items seized includes:

• Three handguns
• Two rifles
• One sawed-off shotgun
• A quantity of ammunition for the firearms
• Ten litres of Gamma Hydroxybutyrate (GHB)
• 185 grams of Crystal Meth
• 41 grams of Psilocybin (Mushrooms)
• 21 grams of Marijuana
• Approximately $9,900 in cash

30-year-old Lana Michelle Davies was arrested during the search warrant. She’s been charged with four counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking and 29 firearms charges.

Culver is described as a Caucasian male, about 6’2″ and 170 lbs, with brown eyes and a shaved head. Police believe Culver is armed and dangerous and should not be approached.
