The footage shows Yatim walking back and forth near the door of the stopped, empty and surrounded 505 TTC streetcar.
The footage shows some of Yatim’s last moments as he can be seen taking a step towards the door before suddenly falling to the floor of the streetcar after he was shot.
The sound of nine shots in total can be heard in another video before several more police officers crowd the entrance to the streetcar.
The Special Investigations Unit (SIU) is conducting an investigation into the shooting and Toronto Police Chief Bill Blair has promised an internal investigation to be delivered to the Toronto Police Services Board once the SIU has submitted its findings.
