Woman taken to hospital in critical condition after ‘serious incident’ at Higgins Avenue and Main Street

A woman was taken to hospital in critical condition after being found assaulted near Higgins Avenue.

Police said they were called to the green space on Higgins Avenue and Main Street at about 12:40 a.m. Thursday.

The woman was “suffering from severe injuries as a result of an assault.” She remains in critical condition.
