Lifestyle, natural beauty, and the local economic drivers helped the community of Lake Country create and select a new logo.

The stylized brand includes the tagline, “Life. The Okanagan Way.”, which the mayor believes will help put Lake Country on the map.

“Lake Country has experienced rapid residential growth in recent years, outpacing provincial averages,” says Mayor James Baker. “We look to the new brand to tell the unique Lake Country story.”

The new logo is the result of six months of hard work by the Economic Planning and Development Committee, District Staff and branding consultants.

Lake Country is in the midst of developing their Main Street and civic organizations while attracting new business to the community.

The branding project was made possible through a grant from the Thompson Okanagan Tourism Association.
