Bicycles, blood behind taped-off portion of Flora Avenue after fight that leaves man critical

Winnipeg police taped off a section of Flora Avenue Monday morning after a fight that sent two people to hospital.

Police said they were called to the 400 block of Flora Avenue at about 4:17 a.m. near Niji Makhwa School. When they got there, several people ran away.

Winnipeg police said they found several people hurt, and one person was taken to hospital in critical condition, while another was taken in unstable condition.

There are three bicycles strewn about the intersection and a pool of blood could be seen on the front steps of a building at 473 Flora Avenue Monday morning.
