TORONTO – The Toronto Maple Leafs have acquired goaltender Jonathan Bernier from the Los Angeles Kings.
To get Bernier, Toronto gave up forward Matt Frattin, backup goaltender Ben Scrivens and Toronto’s second round pick in either the 2014 or 2015 NHL Entry Draft.
The 24-year-old Bernier played in 14 regular season games for the Kings in 2012-13 as Jonathan Quick’s backup.

But he wanted to play more, hence the trade.
Bernier’s record was 9-3-1. He had a goals-against average of 1.88 and a save percentage of .922.
