Have you ever wondered what the Red River Ex looks like in the hours before it opens?
The annual Ex starts Friday at Exhibition Park just northwest of the Perimeter Highway and Portage Avenue interchange. Global Winnipeg weather specialist Mike Koncan and photojournalist Walther Bernal got an early look at the Ex on Friday morning and took some photos of the grounds.
