OPP searching for missing Russell man, 45, last known to be in Ottawa

UPDATE: On Sunday Dec. 1, 2019, provincial police said Sean Parker had been located and they won’t release any further information at this time.

Ontario Provincial Police are looking for a 45-year-old man from Russell, Ont. who was reported missing on Wednesday and was last known to be in Ottawa.

Provincial police say Sean Parker hasn’t been seen since 1 p.m. on Wednesday in the Russell area, about 40 kilometres southeast of downtown Ottawa.

Police are concerned for Parker’s well-being, OPP in Russell County said in a news release on Friday.

Police describe Parker as six-feet-two-inches tall, weighing 275 pounds with a medium build. He has short black and grey hair, a full black and grey beard, green eyes and a tattoo on his right forearm that reads “Misty Amber,” provincial police said.

Parker was last seen wearing a grey t-shirt, navy-blue track pants with white stripes on the sides and a two-tone, hooded grey jacket, according to police. He could be carrying a large, sand-coloured army rucksack, OPP said.

Investigators ask anyone with information about Parker’s whereabouts to call OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or Ottawa police at 1-613-236-1222.
