The Special Investigations Unit (SIU) are investigating following an interaction between police and a man after a disturbance at a Brampton home.
Peel Regional Police responded just before 2:30 a.m. on Sunday to a residence in the area of Montjoy Crescent and Maitland Street.
Investigators said that upon arrival at the home, police had an interaction with a man.
A spokesperson for the SIU told Global News that police were initially called to the home for the behaviour of a 24-year-old man who lived at the residence.

Police said when officers attempted to apprehend the man, an interaction had occurred.
Investigators said the man sustained serious injuries and was transported to hospital for treatment.
The investigation remains ongoing.
