A minor collision involving a semi and a B.C. Transit bus occurred Tuesday morning.
The incident happened along Highway 97, near the entrance to the airport, with the semi allegedly clipping the bus.
The Route 90 UBCO Connector bus was travelling from Vernon to Kelowna.
A witness said the semi was turning onto the highway when it clipped the bus. The witness added there were no injuries in the incident, though a window on the bus door was broken.
The witness added the bus driver did a good job of pulling the bus over and assessing the situation.
“The collision involved a semi-truck and a transit bus,” Kelowna RCMP said in a press release. “Fortunately, there were no injuries as a result of the accident.
“Considering the vehicles involved, there was minor damage.”
