Mattress catches fire in a rail tunnel in North Vancouver; causes evacuation

Fire crews in North Vancouver had to deal with a fire that broke out in a rail tunnel this afternoon.

North Vancouver fire chief Dan Pistilli says it appears a homeless shelter has been set on fire.

A local office building was evacuated as a precaution.

A portion of Esplanade Avenue had to be shut down because of the incident.
