Minister of Finance Jim Flaherty and Governor Mark Carney unveiled the new $20 polymer bank note at Bank of Canada’s head office in Ottawa Wednesday. The new $20 polymer note pays tribute to the contributions and sacrifices of Canadian men and women in all military conflicts, and will feature an updated portrait of HM Queen Elizabeth II on the front, and the Canadian National Vimy Memorial on the back.
