Power mostly restored after outage north of London: Hydro One

UPDATE: As of 8:30 a.m., Hydro One reports power has been restored to those affected, with the exception of a few dozen customers on Wellburn Road, south of Elginfield Road.

A power outage north of London Wednesday morning that left thousands of customers without power has been partially restored.

As of 7:30 a.m. Hydro One said 843 customers were still without power, impacting areas south of Kirkton to north of Thorndale.

Earlier, Hydro One estimated 3,563 customers were impacted in an area spanning between south of Kirkton and just inside London’s northern border.

Arva, Ilderton, Thorndale, Lucan and Granton were also impacted.

The reason for the outage is unknown at this time, but crews have been dispatched to fix the issue.

The estimated restoration time is between 8:15 a.m and 8:45 a.m.
