CN train derailed near Pense, Saskatchewan

REGINA – A CN train heading east derailed near Pense, Saskatchewan on Tuesday morning.

Eleven fertilizer cars left the tracks and blocked a country road.

A spokesperson for CN said there were no injuries reported and crews are currently on the scene investigating what caused the train to derail.

CN crews hope to have the scene cleaned up by late Wednesday evening.
