Two Kingston men were allegedly robbed over the weekend by a group of men, one of which was carrying a handgun, according to police.
Det. Joel Fisher with the Kingston police says two men were walking home from the Hub in the early morning on Sunday when they realized they were being followed by a group of men unknown to them.
Fisher says there was a short altercation between the two men and the group who approached them.
At one point, someone from the group flashed a gun and demanded the pair give them their money.
The men handed over their cash and then fled and called police.
Fisher is asking anyone with information about the group, who were described to be in their 20s, to contact him at 613-549-4660 ext. 6338 or by email at jfisher@kpf.ca.
