The Transportation Safety Board has deployed a team of investigators after a bulk carrier and cargo ship collided in Vancouver Harbour.
The safety board says the collision occurred just after midnight yesterday and involved the MV Caravos Harmony and the MV Pan Acacia of Panama.
Board spokesman Chris Krepski could not say how serious the collision was nor what caused it, but he says there were no reports of injuries or pollution.
He says two investigators are on site today and they will be inspecting the vessels, and talking to crew members, other witnesses and people who may have information about what happened.
He could not say what the vessels were carrying.
