Drugs seized from Ennismore motorsports business, residence

Peterborough County OPP have arrested two people after seizing various drugs, including cocaine, from a residence and motorsports business in Selwyn Township on Wednesday.

Police say their two-month-long investigation led to the search of a Lakeshore Boulevard residence and BraaapShack Powersports on Robinson Road, both in the community of Ennismore.

Officers seized cocaine, psilocybin (magic mushrooms), marijuana, ecstasy, cash, scales and packaging material.

Craig Colton, 34, of Selwyn Township, was arrested and charged with five counts of trafficking, four counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking, and possession of proceeds of crime under $5,000.

He was held in custody for a court appearance in Peterborough on Thursday.

Amanda Colton, 30, of Selwyn Township, was arrested and charged with four counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of proceeds of crime under $5,000. She was released from custody and will appear in court in Peterborough on April 9.

OPP say the investigation is continuing.

Last September, OPP were called to the motorsports business to probe a break and enter after merchandise was stolen.
