Flin Flon RCMP are investigating a vehicle-pedestrian collision that sent a 35-year-old man from Sherridon to hospital in critical condition.
The incident took place Monday night on Highway 10 south of Flin Flon.
The driver, a 59-year-old man from Schist Lake, was travelling southbound on the highway when he struck the man — who police said was lying on the road — with his pickup truck.
The driver immediately flagged down another motorist for help and called 911.
The pedestrian was rushed to hospital in critical condition, and later flown to Winnipeg, where he’s been upgraded to stable.
RCMP are still investigating, with the help of a forensic collision reconstructionist.
