Guns recovered from Montgomery home, charges laid: Calgary police

Three people are facing charges after a drug-trafficking investigation led Calgary police to search a home in the community of Montgomery, earlier this month.

Police said two loaded pistols, four rifles, ammunition, edged weapons and a large amount of suspected stolen property was seized from the home on Friday, March 1.

Three people who were in the home at the time of the search were arrested.

Jamie Taylor-Mcaulay, 33, Jennifer Leanne Hamm, 25, and Jean Daniel Doucette, 38, are now facing dozens of charges.

In a Friday news release, the Calgary Police Service said the investigation was launched as a result the Daylight Initiative, which aims to curb the growth of methamphetamine use in Calgary.
