Peterborough man faces drug charges after police seize purple heroin

Christopher Fitzgerald, 28, of Hillard Street in Peterborough is facing drug charges after police allegedly located and seized purple heroin from his possession.

At approximately 5 p.m. on March 3, officers in the area of George Street North allegedly detained the accused for an investigation.

During the investigation, Peterborough police say the accused was found to be in possession of purple heroin.

The accused was arrested and charged with possession of a schedule I substance (Heroin), and failure to comply with a probation order.

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in court on March 19, 2019.
