Hamilton police investigating gunfire in Stoney Creek

Hamilton police are appealing for witnesses, after another shooting in the city.

Police say shortly after 7 a.m. Monday, a family living in the Glenhollow area in Stoney Creek awoke to find a second-storey window broken and a bullet lodged inside the interior drywall.

Officers also found evidence of approximately four bullet holes in the exterior area of the home, but luckily, no one was injured.

After speaking to witnesses, investigators were able to confirm that shots were heard in the area sometime between 2 a.m. to 3 a.m.

Anyone with information is being asked to contact police.
