Waterloo Regional Police have released images of a pair of men they’re looking to speak with in connection to an early January incident which saw a taxi driver beaten before his cab was stolen.

Police say that at around 2:15 a.m. on January 4, four men assaulted a cab driver near St. Leger and Guelph streets before they stole his car and some personal possessions.

Police tracked down the vehicle a few blocks away. The driver was taken to hospital to be treated for minor injuries.

Police released photos of the two men they’re looking to speak with in connection to the investigation on Tuesday.
