Police have arrested and charged a Peterborough man after an allegedly stolen bank card was used at a convenience store last month.
Police say a purse containing bank cards was stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked at a Western Avenue home in Peterborough sometime overnight between Jan. 13-14.
The investigation revealed one of the bank cards was used on two occasions on Jan. 14 at a convenience store.
Police eventually identified a suspect and located him in the area of Charlotte Street on Saturday.
Carl James Hubbell, 48, of Murray Street, was arrested and charged with use of a credit card, possession of property obtained by crime and failure to comply with a probation order.
He was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 27.
