WestJet flight gets stuck in snow on taxiway at Toronto Pearson Airport
A WestJet flight from Calgary had its arrival time temporarily delayed after it hit some snow and got stuck on the taxiway at Toronto Pearson International Airport late Wednesday.
Officials from the airline said flight WS670 landed around 10 p.m. and became stuck in snow after turning off the runway and onto the taxiway.
Initial reports indicated the nose of the plane had slid off the taxiway but authorities said that was not the case.

WestJet officials said the 737-700 aircraft managed to free itself from the snow and taxied its way to the gate “under its own power.”
Officials said none of the 123 passengers and six flight crew members on board were injured.
