A cyclist has been critically injured in Oakville.
Halton police say around 6:30 p.m. Monday, a Chevy Trax was heading westbound on South Service Road, when it struck a cyclist.

They say the 39-year-old man was thrown from his bicycle and taken to hospital, where he remains in critical condition.
The driver of the Chevrolet, a 69-year-old Oakville woman, was not injured but the cause of the collision is still under investigation.

Any witnesses to the collision are being asked to contact police.
