A pair of Brandon kids were treated by emergency services over the weekend after eating a pot-infused chocolate bar.
Brandon police said the kids – age five and two – mistook an edible cannabis chocolate bar for the real thing Saturday.
Although cannabis was legalized Oct. 17 of last year, under federal law, only cannabis flowers and oil are currently legal for sale in Manitoba and across Canada.

Regulations around cannabis edibles aren’t expected to be in place until later this year, at the earliest.
